The hotel is located very close to European Parliament's and the Council of Europe's premises (10-15 mins walk or 2 tram stops) so it is very convenient if you are in town for EU related affairs. From the outside you would never know that you are in Strasbourg, France. Usually I like to stay in a hotel that reflects where I am but this was a convention so there wasn't a choice. Very comfortable hotel but a little out of the way. It is not close to the old town of Strasbourg but you can take a taxi or the tram (which is one block away). The rooms are nice and clean. The dining is very good with professional service throughout the hotel.

Many people like to stay downtow but most of the hotels in that are are extremely expensive. Hilton Strasbourg gives you a good ocation since it is located in front of the Congress Center and just 5 minutes by tram to downtown where you can find a great offer of restaurants and most of all coffe parlors with incredible pastries....
