“Perfect”

Booked to see Phantom of the Opera at the Palace Theatre. The Mercure Hotel is in an ideal position for the theatre and added benefit being close to China Town and the shops. Perfect for our stay in Manchester All the staff we met were very pleasent. Will be back to the Mercure. More

I stay in manchester fairly often, this was the worst, it was rubbish, grimy windows, tiny room, you get what you pay for i guess. location was great, i guess thats why i ibooked it, pay a little more next time and find somewhere slighly better. More

A lovely hotel only five minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station in one direction, and five minutes walk from the Arndale centre in the opposite direction. Easy to check-in with friendly and helpful staff services throughout. Breakfast buffet good value for choice. Didn't find it too easily from train station, wandered a bit, but is right in the middle of things and useful base for city centre exploring. Stayed Saturday 19 May for one night. Verdict FAULTESS. We contacted hotel onFriday after being aware Manchester 10k run was on Sunday morning and needed to make sure we could leave due to road restrictions.
