I'd have given this a "good" rating if that had been an option. It doesn't quite rate very good, but definitely better than average. The hotel staff were very helpful. Our family room was the biggest I'd ever seen, and very quiet, despite being at the front overlooking the main road. The bathroom was a bit hospital-like and the Italian-type... More

No hot water supplied to our room at any time during our stay. Reported the problem to reception to pass on to the manager, but no one contacted us. I am not going back. TIP _ If you are offered a better room on the sixth floor ask and check that there is hot water.

Just returned from a night at this hotel and the first thing I did when I got back home was to jump in a hot shower. We stayed here as we were vistitng the WB studio's Harry Potter tour with our 9 year old boy. On arrival we were allocated a large family room at the front of the building... More

I've stayed many times at this hotel and overall its pretty standard for what you'd expect of this class of hotel. The rooms are smallish but adequate. The staff are welcoming and helpful, keen to solve any problems. The bathrooms are bright and the actual showers large and good - and as noted by other reviewers the towels are good.... More

I recently stayed at the Park Inn, Watford over the dates 11.04.12 – 13.04.12 with my sister as it was close to the Harry Potter Tour. I found the hotel to only be a five minute walk from Watford Junction train station which I travelled from. The room was a very good size for 2 people staying there with all... More

Stayed here for two nights while visiting the nearby Harry Potter tour. The location is very good, a five minute walk from Watford Junction train station and is very easy to find. Very friendly and helpful welcome on arrival. The room itself was very basic and compact, but with everything you need in there. The breakfast was simple, but good... More

I come to Watford quite a bit on business and usually stay here due to its location, which is good. Trouble is everything else is just ok. Food is ok, rooms are basic but again ok, service can be a bit hit and miss and I wouldn't say I'd ever received a warm welcome. All in all it's ok for... More

Dear Suzanne F, Thanks for leaving the review though I must say I am dissapointed to see you find us just ok. This is not something I would ever want to hear and whilst I am glad you found us functional and located in the right place (always important). I will ensure you experience us at our best and on... I stayed at the Park Inn for one night on business, and chose the hotel purely based on its location equidistant between the station and where I was working. I was able to check in earlier than 2pm (the earliest available time according to the hotel’s website) by requesting a room that hadn’t been stayed in the night before, and... More

I usually stay at another hotel when I travel to Watford, but this time, due to room availability, I stayed at the Park Inn. When I got there, I remembered I had actually stayed there before! Oops! I'm a business traveller and expect three major things from hotels: cleanliness, quiet, service. If I get these, then I know I can... More

Stayed here for business twice. Nothing wrong with the room, Park Inn standard. Location is by a big road, so rooms towards the street can be noisy. Good is the proximity of the station. The in-house restaurant did not appeal to me, so I ventured into the nearby city centre. Reception was unaware of how to deal with my membership... More

Dear insulaner1984, Thanks for the review and sorry to see you didn't try our RBG, perhaps on your next stay? I will make sure the team can deal with your Club Carlson membership (and as the leading Park Inn in England with Club Carlson) am very very surprised they could not at the time. Should you be driving to the... More
