A good place for people conducting business and for people traveling on other kinds of reason. However, shouldn't the guest relations officer / reception officers, at least know something of the area? Where to be able to find certain facilities or amenities? A good place marred by unknowledgable staff marred the good experience of the hotel itself.

The Campanile Hotel has taken £20 from my Visa account as a fine for leaving a stained towel... I never used the towels... I take my own. They did not notify me of this fine at all.. by phone or mail or email..... discusting!!!! Just to add... there was only one towel anyway for 2 adults sharing.

Just had 3 days at this hotel. Glad to get home to get some sleep. The fire alarm went off 7 times during our stay, 4 times in the early hours. Not one member of staff apologised for the disruption. Not impressed.

We chose this hotel because the club we were going to was just over the road. Some of us ordered a room with two single beds and others a double.
