Lovely hotel extremely clean, has been refitted recentley but would recommend individual heating in the rooms as I wad very cold on the first night. Plenty of pillows as in all hotels not enough milk and sugar. Lovely new fitted bathroom but could use a bigger shower screen or a door on the shower as the water floods the floor.... More

An excellent hotel, ideally situated. Staff are friendly and helpful and are always pleased to see you when you return. Food is good and reasonably priced. Can be expensive during the week due to the large number of business people who stay during conferences. At weekends breakfast is prepared to order. Will certainly stay there again.

No air con planned until 2016 just suffer in the most mild temps! Rooms are at sauna tempatures whenever the sun is out. Rooms are basic with no upgrades available as every room in hotel identical. We stayed here as a convenient half way stop on the way to North Wales. It is a very short distance off the main road and easy to find.
