Stayed here when travelling back from Cornwall to West Yorkshire. Would have preferred to be nearer City Centre, took about 10 mins to drive. Restaurant/drinks prices above average so chose to eat elsewhere. Rooms good quality and mattresses extremely conducive for a good nights sleep.

We were in Gloucester for a Competition at the Capital Venue. The travel time to the venue was 15 to 20 minutes. Note that extra time should be given if using this hotel during rush hour. The hotel was compact and contained everything that was required. The capsule shower room had a spacious shower and "hot" water at all times.... More

We stayed with family and loved the new hotel which has a sense of space while eating in the restaurant overlooking the Barnwood roundabout area. I ordered a Thai basa fillet which unfortunately was not available, but food was good overall. I would like to stay again in future.

looking for a budget hotel ( I normally stay Premier Inns) found Ibis, was delighted with what we found - okay it's not luxury but it's clean and very functional and the staff were excellent. The rooms have a funky bathroom "pod" which works so well!
