We stayed in the alamah 2 weeks ago in half term with our 5 year old. We received a very warm welcome from judy and sue who could not have looked after us better. The breakfasts (especially the scrambled egg) were fab and our daughter liked the relaxed environment where she could play with her sticker book while we has... More

Booked this as a birthday surprise for my husband and chose the Alamah based on the already good reviews it had received and how right they were. What a fab B&B. Judy and Sue are probably two of the nicest people you will ever have the good fortune to meet and they made our stay excellent, from the very warm... More

We booked this break last year and chose the Alamah based on the good reviews it had received. The B&B is the best I have stayed in and the breakfast was really good - far better than we've had in standard British hotel chains. It's within a 10 minute walk of the town. so it's in an ideal spot to... More

We have stayed at the Alamah many times but this is our first review. When we find somewhere brill we like to keep it a secret but we know this isn't good for business! When visiting Harrogate for The Spring Flower Show we would simply not stay anywhere else. As all the reviews say .....warm welcome, fab breakfast, spotless bedrooms,... More

First time to Harrogate to attend our daughter's graduation at the Exhibition Centre for which the Alamah is very convenient. We picked this for its 4 star Visit England rating and were not disappointed. We originally booked for 2 nights but asked to stay on an extra night to see the delights of Harrogate. Judy and Sue excellent hosts and... More

I travel to Harrogate on business every spring and it's such a pleasure to stay here. The welcome is always warm, the rooms are immaculate and breakfast is delicious - a perfect start to the day. Had a lovely comfortable 3 night stay. Judy and Sue were more than helpful. Would recommend this lovely Victorian guest house - central location. Staying here is a must. The Ladies even lent us some deck chairs to take to an Exhibition as we had forgotten ours. Don't look at any other Guest House until you view there website. Brilliant.
