Our hosts were lovely people that gave us good advice on how to get to Glendalough, which I highly recommend. The rooms were a decent size but the bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have been in, in my life. The shower in particular was awkward since the shower nozzle was pointed at the door so to adjust the temperature,... More

Drom Ard was my first B&B experience in Ireland, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment I got there, Catherine made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and my room was spotless and very inviting, after spending a few days in a very anonymous and cold hotel room in Dublin. She recommended a great spot, the... More

I stayed here for just one night after a heavy St.Patrick's Day weekend. I slept through 12 hours. It was quiet clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Especially the view that came with it. Only the fact that there was a cat in the house would have been good to know as I... More

My boyfriend and I stopped here last October. First trip to Ireland for me, and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. So much so, we cancelled our 2nd night in Dublin, to stop here another night. Lovely accomodation and superb views from the breakfast room. Yummy breakfast too. Host Catherine, very nice lady. I loved Ireland. Would not... More

We stayed at Drom Ard on our very first night in Ireland; it was our first experience with Irish B&B's. We compared all the other B&B's to our Drom Ard stay and it was hard to beat the clean, comfortable rooms, the beautiful views from the breakfast room and the gracious hospitality. Thanks for such a warm introduction to your... More

We booked this through B&B Ireland accommodation. Catherine was very friendly and cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning in a room with fantastic views. Although there is wireless internet we found we could only use it in the sitting room area, not a problem though.

Our family of 5 had a great stay here in Wicklow!! Catherine was very helpful and very kind with our children. The breakfast was delicious and lots of options for the children and the view is spectacular!!! The family room had plenty of room for all of us and our two big suitcases. I highly recommend this inn for families.

The owner gave us a choice of two rooms and the room we chose was great for three people! We were leaving very early the next day to catch our flight and she served us breakfast at 7:00 (the usual time was 8:00) so we could eat before our flight. She was wonderful as was the property!

We spent one night at Drom Ard at the tail end of a 10-day jaunt around Ireland and Northern Ireland and really loved it. The owner Catherine is friendly, warm, and thoughtful; she even served us breakfast an hour before she normally opened the kitchen so we'd have enough time to eat before heading to Dublin Airport for our 11am... We have just returned from Drom Ard, after our visit around Ireland, and although we only stayed two nights, it was a great advert for Irish B&B. Nothing was a bother , and chatting with Catherin was a joy with her warmth and charm, and having your breakfast over looking the sea and the mountains was a pleasure to behold. Try... More
