Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. It was very busy being a bank holiday and we were given a smoking room, the corridors stank and so did the room, but if you dont mind that kind of thing.... The room was old, tired and a bit grubby. I wouldnt say dont stay there, just dont be expecting much if... More

Some people have been very unfair to this hotel and i feel that it is important to stand up for it. Myself and my wife met in 5* hotels and always used to come down to the crosbie cedars to escape Dublin and read the papers and a few books while enjoying the facilities and pleasantness of the staff. when... My husband and I stayed here at the start of a 2 week holiday after arriving from Wales on the ferry. We had a long drive the next day and needed a stress-free start. We found the hotel to be warm and friendly with big bedrooms as well as a big bar with character and lovely food. It was near... More

Stayed there for 2 nights in April. The Hotel is conveniently located for walks on the beach and just a short drive to the ferry port. We have to say that the Hotel was quite, but considering it is off-season and the current economic climate, we didn’t expect it to be overly busy, just exactly what we were looking for.... More

Having stayed and socialised at the cedars for the past 17 years I was very dissapointed to see how run down it has become. The building itself appears to be fine in communal areas, the bedrooms tell a different story. There is absolutley no atmosphere in the bar and the restaurant seems to make it up as it goes along.... I did not know what to expect form this hotel as the website seemed a little old fashioned. When I arrived I couldnt been more mistaken. The hotel was modern and so welcoming. It looked like it has been refurbsihed recently. The bar was lovely, nice and big and the dining room looked like an amercian diner but you could... More

My husband and I had initially booked to stay 3 nights at the Crosbie Cedars Hotel in July 2007. While the ground floor of the hotel was pleasant enough, it masked the quite unacceptable standard of the bedroom accommodation. The website for the hotel interestingly uses terms like luxurious etc, and refers to a 3* rating, but this was certainly... More

We stayed overnight to break our journey to and from the Ring of Kerry. We required a room with wheelchair access and were allocated one on the ground floor but this was not adapted. As we were only staying the one night each time we did not mind this too much. However on both occasions the flush on the toilet... More

As part of a deal with our supermarket coupons, we booked this hotels for two nights and one meal. We had a very relaxing time. The rooms need some renovating and the bathroom is not the newest, but it was all clean and staff was friendly. Staffnumbers seems to be limited so they are all working extremely hard. The location... More
