Our company held our Mid Year Sales Conference in the Tower Hotel last Friday. The staff were the best of any hotel we've previously used. They pre-empted our every need and even included little extras like ice cream and homemade lemonade in the afternoon because the weather was so good. It's a 3 star hotel, but the staff were so... My partner and I stayed here for my 30th Birthday. The website for this hotel was great and this is why it was chosen. Looking back at the reviews I just wish either of us had read them before we left. We stayed here for 2 days mid-week in May 2012. There was quite a bit of tourist traffic but... More

What a big disappointment! this was the worst place we have stayed in on our travels around Ireland. Beds were not comfortable, no air conditioning, the room was very hot and even with window open, it didn't cool down. Went for a meal in the Bistro, food was terrible, really bland, the Bailey's cheesecake had no flavor. The dining room... More

My partner Bernie and I stayed here just a short while ago for a weekend break. Staff were so amazingly helpful and pleasent, the food was fantastic. If I had one "complaint" it would be that the heating in the rooms was up to its max but in all fairness is winter, its Ireland and once you opened a window no... More

What a disappointment! As a proud member and user of Trip Advisor, I take a lot of pride in my research and I felt so mislead by the praise this hotel received. It was the worse experience I've had in a long time...and I really hate to have to write this awful review, but I owe it to folks to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel itself is a 3 star, which is about right, rooms are standard stuff, en suite, tea/ coffee and television. Very clean, bright and comfortable. Downstairs is a bar, bistro and lounge serving food throughout the day. They do have a small gym downstairs which is okay. Breakfast again is a choice of cooked... More

Stayed here on Saturday 28/4/12 for 1 night with wife and 2 kids. Checked in at 1.00 p.m. and receptionist was fast and friendly. Decor in reception and lobby was very fresh and up to date. We had booked a family room and it was on the third floor looking out on the Dunmore Road. Room was large with 2... More

Really enjoyed weekend in February in Tower Hotel. I would give it four stars instead of three. Our twin bedroom was very comfortable and seems to have been freshly renovated. It was very modern with a lovely bathroom. The bar food was very good. The breakfast was great and we dined in the dining room on both nights of the... More

Spent three nights here a little while back and wouldn't have a bad word to say about the place. Room was fine, breakfast very good, service excellent and bar/restaurant/lobby area top class. Free WiFi a big bonus too. Special shout-out for Rooms Manager, Sean Byrne, seemed genuinely interested in his guests' experience. Would defintely recommend it and will be returning.... More

Just back from a two night stay in the Tower. Firstly let me say that the staff we encountered were all unfailingly polite and efficient and are a credit to the hotel. We stayed in a third floor room, which was small but clean. It did face out onto the street though and our sleep was interrupted by what I... More
