Bertra House is perfectly located for those wanting to climb Croagh Patrick or walk the beach. We were able to avoid the crowded car park at the base of Croagh Patrick by walking from Bertra House (adds an additional 3 miles round trip to the 4.5 mile climb). We have just returned home after spending our seventh October short break at Bertra House. Margaret is very welcoming and extremely accomodating. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ideally situated for a walk along the beach or a more strenuous trek up Croagh Patrick. We will certainly be back for more.
