Room was quite small and double bed was tiny, in fact it could scarcely be called a double bed. Also, plastic undersheets were used which were decidedly uncomfortable. One wonders has incontinence been a problem with previous guests??!! On the plus side, the cooked breakfast was very nice. But we can honestly say we will not be staying there again.

This is not first time i have stayed at the Castletroy Lodge and it wont be the last. The Lodge has a warm relaxed atmosphere I found my room very comfortable and WHAT A BREAKFAST. When they say Bed & Full Irish Breakfast, you get just that and more.

I happened across this B&B by accident while visiting Limerick. I only stayed one night but was really impressed with the level of attention to detail. This lodge is a purpose-built money making exercise with none of the warmth you might hope for in an Irish B&B.
