We stayed for only 1 night and wish it could have been longer. Maired and Jimmy were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful...bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet. Jimmy had lots of information for us regarding the country and Maired gave us great recommendations for dinner. Enjoyed this stay very much!!

House is close enough to town by car to make a short 10 min drive into town to pick up take-away and bring it back - my wife and I were too worn out to eat out. Bedroom was huge,clean with lovely furniture and very comfortable bed. Sparkling bathroom with excellent hot shower.Good location close to central Kilkenny. Scrumptious home made scones at breakfast. Everything you would want from a top hotel at half the price with friendly and warm touch. Hosts could not have been more helpful or welcoming.

This is a great place with an incredibly friendly and helpful hostess! Located about 10 minutes (by car) outside of town, it's a quiet, lovely house with a nice view.
