Beautiful 13 room guest house in what used to be the dowager residence for the castle. Richard checked us in and was most charming. The included breakfast was delish! We had a junior suite at Butler House. The location is superb, right in the heart of Kilkenny and our room was large and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The service was awesome and very helpful. We did experience significant town noise with the windows open. The breakfast was terrific, and included the best scone I've ever had! Would definately stay again.

Stayed here with my fiancee. Very simple hotel: no fuss, just very comfortable and impeccably clean. Renovated recently and it feels lovely. Excellent staff with the personal touch. Impeccably clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast in the Kilkenny design centre. Will return.
