Lovely site, perfect for an over night stay in Kilkenny. Reasonably priced for August. All facilities clean and pleasant ! Owner is lovely and also very helpful. Not a bad walk into Kilkenny city either! Perfect place for couples :) Will definitely go back to this camp site!

We stayed for two nights and the place was OK even if it was pretty basic for the price we had to pay. We chose a location on the flat area in front of the toilet block (in the furthest away corner). My boyfriend and I stayed at this campsite during the Kilkenny Cat Laughs festival and really enjoyed our stay, so much so that we stayed an extra night! When booking, the owner told me they only take "couples" as they dont get any hassle from them, when I got there I didnt see too many couples, just gangs of lads and girls. Price was way over-priced, €15 per person, way more expensive than any other campsite Ive stead in. Also, price seems to have DOUBLED in a year.... More
