The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower kept dripping which was a bit irritating but the staff did manage to fix it. I stayed here for two nights in March. The hotel is very central in Kilkenny, and as the name suggests is next to the river. Parking is plentiful (if you include behind the hotel), and check-in was friendly and efficient. My room, 201, a double, was bright and comfortable without being exceptional. excellent stay in the rivercourt for 2 nights on the 10 and 11 of march overlooked by the castle centrally located could not ask for a better venue rooms spacious beds almost to comfortable the hotel food is excellent nothing to complain about only they charge you for parking which is a bit annoying considering you are spending money there
