We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Muckross Drive House. The location is perfect. It is very a close walk to downtown Killarney and a block from the magnificent Kilarney National Park. Our room was large with huge closets. The B&B is on a quiet street so it was easy to get a good nights sleep. The host, Bridie, was... More

We were greeted by the hostess's daughter and shown a clean and comfortable room. Bathroom was spacious with large shower, but the water pressure was not good. It was just a short walk into the centre of Killarney. Our charming hostess served us a tasty breakfast in a bright dining room. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We spent a week in Killarney using Muckross Drive House as our base for daily cycling trips to Dingle, Gap of Dunloe, Ring of Kerry etc. We could not have made a better choice. We were immediately made welcome by Bridie and given a perfect room overlooking the mountains. The road was very quiet while being close to the town... More

I stayed here with my friend as we were down visiting some friends. The house is just minutes from the train station and the centre of town. And just off a main road so the area is quiet at night. Bridie, the proprieter was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was good, clean and comfortable. My friend and I have... More

We cycled into the Muckross on the last day of our cycle trip through Kerry; they have a nice shed in the back for bikes. It is a short two block walk into the centre of Killarney. The breakfast room is nicely set for tea during the day, and we had a nice visit with a local elderly dog while... More

I found this guesthouse from the internet, but booked directly. Bridie was very pleasant upon our arrival after our climb up Carrantuohill. The rooms were very spacious, very clean and all with en suite. Each of our rooms had a double and a single bed, and the breakfast was very nice. The location was about 5 minutes walk from the... Bridie very helpful, fixed us pancakes for breakfast and spent time helping us plan our tour of Dingle and Muckcross house. Spent 2 nights at this... More

Clean and comfortable property, in a quiet alcove off the busy streets of Killarney. Stayed here a night on a driving tour around Ireland. Ample parking. Decor rather busy to my taste, but that's not the reason one books into a B&B! We had the first floor room which had a lovely view of the hills in the distance. Good... More
