We spent two nights in Killarney and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murphy's. Wonderful location right in the middle of town---convenient to everything. Nice facilities. Comfortable rooms. Fun pub. Good breakfast. Great value!!

I stayed here in April 2013. This guesthouse is in a great location. The people working there were very nice. The room itself was just ok. It was very dated and small. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The room was chilly and there wasn't a way to adjust the thermostat. I had to ask the front desk for the remote... More

We had two nights away from our three darlings! And found Murphy's to be a most pleasant break from home. Friendly and clean with others to "mind" us , cook, wash up etc. an absolute pleasure. Brilliant atmosphere, fab food and most courteous, friendly and helpful staff. We'd recommend Murphy's and are planning a return visit soon.

I wasn't expecting much when I booked this hotel for a short stay in Killarney. My room was on the second floor with a view of the main street in Killarney, the room was almost too big which is never a bad thing. The room was clean, nice bathroom, quiet considering it was on the main street. The bar next... More

I stayed here many years ago when it was a much smaller B&B. I chose it this time because I travel with my daughter who now needs her own room as she is older and Hotels charge single parents crazy prices for single Rooms. The lady at check in was lovely and advised us re parking which is not provided... More

We had dinner here and it was packed so we had a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. Great pub atmosphere in the center of killarney. The beef & Guinness casserole was fantastic, overall a great meal and I believe in the summer months they have live music.

We stayed here 2 nights last week. At first I was a bit dissapointed because the photos made it look a bit more quaint. From the outside it was, but the rooms on the inside are pretty plain. The walls are a bit thin so we heard our neighbors come in late one night and I thought they were coming... More

Went there twice, had both of their stews (Traditional Irish Stew with lamb and Beef & Guinness Casserole), Cottage Pie with beef, Murphy's Prime Irish Beef Burger, Warm Homemade Apple Pie & Ice Cream. Really liked their stews. Service was nice and quick. Loved their brown bread that they serve with main courses. Probably my favorite part of the menu.... More

Murphy's is better than your typical "over the pub accomodation". The staff are friendly, its newly renovated, with fresh clean paint, tiles, and carpet. It was exactly what we were looking for. Somewhere close to all the pubs and shops, simple and clean. And clean it was. VERY clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rates are... More
