This location was a last-minute decision, and it went fairly well. I met someone else from the midwest in the co-ed room I stayed in. It felt very safe, but there was a lot going on. I have stayed in hostels all over the world but none were as bad as this one. Staff don't seem to give a damn. The sheets, duvets and pillows were grubby/dirty. The men's toilet floor was filthy. No luggage storage!! One member of staff very indifferent when asked where we could store our luggage...later discovered that we could store our luggage across the street in the railway st. for 2.50 euro. would have appreciated if this member of staff could have made some effort at basic customer service and passed on this information. This has to be the worst value for money place I've ever stayed in. Charging top price for a low grade hostel is disgraceful and is ruining Galway. Staff were friendly though when they were taking €80 off me for a single room that was dirty and didn't even have a window... a prison cell would be nicer.

We liked this hostel. Staff is okay and location excellent. U can find car parking in front of the hostel, but during the day it's not free! 2 remarks: breakfast is a bit poor!! The bathroom water is too much hot.

Good place. Each bed has a pull out tray that is lockable and can easily fit a suitcase and back pack. Nice vibe in the place. Music playing etc. Had some noisy room mates but cant do much about that.
