“Great Location”

Marina House was my home for 2 months. It was close to Dublin, the ocean and the train which took me all over Ireland, shopping, movie house and church. Can't forget Purdys Pub which served me my dinner and brew. Met lots of interesting folks. Surrounding nightlife was great. I would stay there again

We stayed here for two nights and they couldn't find our reservation and I had called ahead saying we would be early and needing a room. When we got there they couldn't find our reservation, we had to wait three hours for the room and nothing was able to be locked! Three times while we were there people came into... More

“Friendly, quaint hostel”

Marina House is a friendly, convenient hostel that was very accommodating to our group of 14. It's a short walk to the DART station and a 10 minute walk into downtown Dun Laoghaire. “Great Location and People but needs a good clean”

We stayed here when sailing in the Volvo Dun Laoghaire regatta to avoid staying on the boat. There were 10 of us in the group and we got the 8 bed room (which has 12 beds!!!) This is great as it has its own balcony with seats etc but the "sea view" is a bit of a estate agents take... More
