Myself and my husband and another couple stayed at this hotel during the May bank holiday and we all had a really enjoyable stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the leisure facilities were excellent. We have a lovely quiet room and really enjoyed the break. We visited Dun Laoghaire Centre which... More

I arrived at around 3pm Monday the 22nd of April. My first impression was completely ruined by the most obnoxious receptionist I have ever encountered. When I arrived I was the only person in reception. She was on the phone (It was obviously a friend and not a customer). She glanced at me the continued her conversation without any acknowledgment... We were ataying elsewhere and after a dreadful breakfast asked family to recommend somewhere for dinner. They suggested this hotel on the outskirts of Dublin (at Killiney. It used to be the Hotel Victor) , and we met them there. We were'nt disappointed. Food is fresh and flavourfull, the menu not huge , but giving a good choice, and service... More

Myself and 3 friends stayed in this hotel in April 2013 for a relaxing weekend. (we are all very easy going, laid back & generally would not post a review because we are usually happy but felt this hotel deserved a review) we were disappointed from the very minute we walked into reception on our first day - the receptionist... Booked an overnight stay with a friend in Jan 2013- staff were fantastic, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I got an amazing facial and my friend said her back massage was great also. Our evening meal was excellent. This was followed by yummy cocktails and live music in the bar. Delighted with our weekend, will be back :)

Visited the restaurant here and what a great advantage this place has over its competitors it's staff. Friendly and very professional and having discussed the menu with the waitress she recommended the salmon. This dish was excellent and the wine was reasonable and good. While the restaurant was not very busy the staff were on top of their game and... More

stopped here one night due to its location for some business. The rooms are large enough but on a winters night the window was left open and was very cold. The radiator gurgled all night and took long time to restore some heat. We were upgraded to an executive room which was nice though. There is a sports facility and... More

We arrived at the RLH for a 3 night stay very early in the morning (approx 8.30am) and expected to be turned away - this wasn't the case and we were given access to our room immediately. As already stated on this site the rooms are starting to tire but they are spacious, comfortable and clean. The food in the... More

This is a large hotel which looks very smart from the website. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed although the one I stayed in was starting to look a little tired. I arrived late and had a meal in the bar. The food was tasty and good value with excellent service. Breakfast was underwhelming (quality) and below what I... More

We visited this hotel for a family reunion (my cousins live within walking distance from hotel) and we really couldn't fault the hotel. The welcome was outstanding, the bar staff really pleasant and the restaurant staff brilliant. We arrived off the ferry on the Thursday night having had to travel up from Rosslare, and as we had eaten on the... More
