The location is good but not completely central to o connel street but very convenient. The service is very good and so is the staff. But the only drawback is no free wifi and available wifi is very slow and expensive... Rest all its a good experience for a 3 star hotel

3 star rating for a 3 star hotel. The only reason it's getting an average rating is because anywhere else downtown is 2 or 3 times more expensive. You're basically getting what you pay for as you need to take a 10 Euro taxi or a 4 Euro DART ride to get to the Lifie. They are currently remodeling many... More

Unfortunately this is a real hit or miss hotel - you can get reasonable rooms but there are plenty of grotty rooms - the net curtains were dirty, the bath was dirty, the toiletries had a brand name but the contents were not as per the brand - glasses in the bathroom had not been washed and it was a... I stayed at this hotel on the last two nights of a bus tour through Ireland. The prices to stay here are, according to the door post, outrageous. First, it is not within walking distance of the main streets of Dublin. Second, my roommate and I could not believe the poor quality of service - we asked to have our... More

This hotel was ok not anything great. Our shower sucked at best and the breakfast was alright. It is about a 30 min walk to anything. I probably would not stay here again but it is better than most hostels around here. So I would say it is just average an if u are staying here don't worry it will... More

what a dissappointing hotel this is, desperately shoddy. Bathroom for example, broken shower element on the tap, the shower itself not capable of much more than a trickle. the grout surrounding the bath was absolutely filthy. the nets in the room (how modern?) were stained a hideous brown and the curtains hanging off the rail. I'd expect more than two... More

This probably used to be a good hotel, but no longer. We suffered through two days and nights of constantly clanging pipes and a dripping toilet. We had to constantly fix the plumbing. There was hair in the sink and in the tub, pealing and sloppy paint and a rude staff at the desk. They messed up our reservation and... More

What a great way to begin my dream trip to Ireland. Staying at the Ballsbridge was fantastic, close walking distance to everything (some walks longer than others but great nonetheless)! The staff was knowledgeable, and the concierge went out of his way to make sure our next stop was notified that our arrival was going to be later than expected.... More

stayed here recently, very comfortable and bar food good. and reasonable as well. one of the managers not the main manager was not to nice to my husband on an issue that arose. in fact he was very insulting. Due to this I would have reservations about returning. Everybody else were very nice. .
