We had the misfortune of two nights stay in this apartment. While the apartment itself is ok - although the toilet set was broken and the hot tap not working in the bathroom - the location was terrible. What the owner euphemistically describes as a bit of noise was actually pumping music right below the apartment until 3 am and then shouting and bottles being thrown repeatedly into bins until past 4. We ended up buying ear plugs but still got no sleep. Avoid this place unless you plan to be out yourself until past 3am

Firstly, let me say that this apartment is in an absolutely fantastic location at the top of Grafton Street, with Dublin's best bars and restaurants minutes away. However, beyond that, there are some major issues with the accomodation. Firstly, the window in the main room is single glazed, doesn't close tightly and backs on to a late night club. Fourth, and of far less importance, the walls seriously need re-painted, the toilet seat was cracked and slid off, and there are signs of damp and mild disrepair elsewhere. With some double glazing (essentially for soundproofing) and a little TLC, this could be an amazingly located, charming loft space. As it is, it left me seriously sleep deprived and resenting the price tag.…

SMOKE from landlord/neighbour, and restaurant NOISE. Troublesome hot water heater and black mold in bedroom and bathroom....Would NEVER recommend this apartment for a traveller to Dublin, as there are several FANTASTIC options out there! Sorry.
