From O'Connell Street you can take buses 16, 16A, 19, 19A, 122 to our house. Also we are just 5 minutes walk away from Luas stop on Harcourt Street.

( + ) In a good location - in a walking distance to most of tourist attractions, direct bus to the airport. Couple of shops around. All amenities you may need in the hostel available and included in the price. ( - ) Very thin walls - you may hear everything people in other rooms are doing, including even plugging something to the socket... Very simple breakfast. Quite old furniture, not the cleanest room. For that price I could've expected a bit more.

The advert promised a TV, but no TV was provided !!! When prompted, the hotel staff came up with some rubbish excuse. The hotel staff was reasonable friendly, but still they refused to amend the advert. What use is friendlyness to me, if someone outright lies to attract customers.

Absolutely disgusted with this hostel. Having stayed previously at Isaac hostel which was fab but booked up this time had to book Harrington. Our room was full of mould no curtains but blinds furry!!!! Bathroom was also full of mould. Shower was fine if your a size 8! Pillows 2 inch deep! Tv didn't work! Free WiFi but our room was in an outhouse in th back garden!, breakfast was toast with a broken toaster so could only do 1 slice at a time. Spoke to the manager about out concerns but he got aggressive and said we was on drugs and he was calling the police. Told him to do so but he never did. Was threatened when managers friend come out too. Other residents had no problems with us and said they will be making a complaint themselves. Will never be staying in this place again and will be claiming on my insurance.…

I start with the freaky hostel sign outside. Looks like a bad horror film. On entering it smells like a marajuana farm. 1. More mould in the room than actual room. 2. The excellent up to date tv works exceptionally (not) 3. The fire alarm is pointless (it does not work) (we tested it) 4. There is no WiFi In the area they put us in (equivalent to your grandads shed) 5. If you raise any of the above they will allege you are on crack and call the police rather than address it reasonably 6. If this place has six months left in it. Good luck ! 7. If you stay take your own bleach. 8. Don’t except your blinds to close. 9. Expect stains on your bed sheets 10. Expect frozen butter and expect to help yourself to that 11. It’s a job not even Kim and Aggie could manage.

We stayed at Harrington House the for three days and found the room and the staff were excellent. However the hotel is across the street from a very popular night club Diceys. The action at the club begins to ramp up around 10 PM and there are throngs of noisy partiers lining up to get in. The line literally goes down the block and the action goes on until at least 4 AM and we got very little sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights, location is nice walkable from major tourist attractions. There seemed to be some kind of renovation going on, the rooms were not very well maintained and bathroom had short of essential supplies. Not much to expect from the breakfast it was very basic.

the manager was absolutely unfriendly...but not only so..he never welcomed us or any guest. he only appeared to tell us off for taking breakfast at 7 .instead of 8 (which i consider extremely late for tourists who want to take tours) . he only talked to us the day we had to check out just to charge us ...in 5 days we could never get a lamp for our night table!. i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone..very disappointing experience!

Booked through booking.com (no longer possible at time of review, and probably for a reason!). Tiny room with 2 bunkbeds/private shower/toilet. No windows/ventilation (unless you want to leave the door open). Very hot, heating was on and could not be controlled. Shower either too cold or too hot. Issues with check-in. Breakfast very basic (toast+jam and hot water/tea). Disappointing and run down (change of management??). Reasonably clean for low budget. Only good thing was the location.
