Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Emilio at the bar provided excellent bar service, very attentive and informative. Goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having a fun time, and will answer any questions about drinks, or locations around Dublin. Would recommend to anyone

Hotel's Favourite
We always enjoy our time in the Hilton Dublin. For our most recent overnight we stayed in one of the renovated rooms, very impressed with the size of the room and the decor, bathroom was pure luxury! Lots of water left in the room for us and nice tea/coffee facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the bar, food was really tasty and good value. Breakfast has a good selection and service was great. Best location for a hotel in the city. Within walking distance to Stephen green and the luas is right at the front door. Highly recommend, will stay again.

We booked our stay to visit our son and his girlfriend. When we booked in we asked the staff member Felipe if there was availability to book our son in and to say he and Carlo went above and beyond is an understatement. Suffice to say that both are a credit to the hotel and would be reason enough to book a return stay. I cannot thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend this hotel as it is right on the Lucas line in to Dublin City.

One of the worst hotels we've stayed at. Rooms so dark you can't even see your things. My wife couldn't even see herself putting makeup on. Rooms smelled like smoke. The hotel has renovated the (overpriced) restaurant in the lobby and conveniently shows off these photos on their website. Our room looked like it hadn't been updated in 2 decades. Stained gross carpet, mildew and grime covered plastic-looking shower, tacky furniture, no water in the rooms. When we complained, we were told a maintenance person would come to our room. When we then escalated to Hilton customer service, we were told someone would contact us in 5 to 7 days. Finally, the customer service manager emailed saying she'd like to speak with us, but with no other details. We stood in line at the front desk twice. This is 1-star motel with new engineered flooring in the lobby.

Room was make up well by Loenora and the facilities were all good, nice comfortable bed, good bathroom (recently refurbished), coffee making machine worked well and fresh water every day. The room was also quiet and I was fortunate to get an upgrade to the Executive floor which was nice.

Great hotel and ALL staff, without exception were helpful and thoughtful. Only downside is the constant music in the background in the restaurants, something I dislike with a passion. Room cosy and worm. TV big and fair selection of channels. Was able to use it with my laptop as I had brought a hmri cable.
