We stayed four nights.. The location is great, the centre is nearby on walking distance...We had two rooms on the top floor, one to the front, one to the back side of the hotel. The one at the back side was quieter, except for the live Irish folk music till about 12 oclock, coming out of the Celt bar next... More

Great location few minutes to O'Connell Street. Booked 2 rooms for ourselves and our friends for 2 nights Staff very friendly especially "G" when our American friend complained the room was small and there was no lift. Yes the rooms were small however the price was excellent for the situation. Rooms were clean and our bed was comfortable. We had... More

I'll start with the positives: It's central and close to main attractions, it has a free airport transfer and it was the cheapest hotel we could find in Dublin at short notice. The negatives: if your room faces the street you wont get much sleep as the outside noise is LOUD, you need to hand your key into reception whenever... More

The Celtic Lodge was perfect for us. Just off O'Connell Street so only 5 - 10 min walk to the centre depending on where you're heading. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and modern if not a little small but adequate for the 2 of us. Breakfast was medoicre but did the job and gave us... More

This little B&B in the heart of Dublin has a lot going for it. • Helpful, kind, friendly and professional service • Very well priced for a location so close to everything you'll need • Clean and well looked after rooms • Perhaps best of all, the management owns the pub 'The Celt' one door down, which is what I... Staff at Celtic Lodge extremely helpfull in booking what has now become our annual staff trip. Accomodation very clean and although basic it has everything that you would need with the inclusion of a full Irish Breakfast.

My wife and I stopped here for two nights in January 2012. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm. (you need to ask the receptionist to activate the heating in your room, but this is sensible and no hassle.) Breakfast was nice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I've no hesitation in recommending this hotel, which is also ideally situated.

Good value B&B close to city and 10 mins from Temple Bar. The rooms are small and bathrooms could use a little attention to detail but hotel is clean, friendly and an ideal base to stay in. They also own a bar next door so you can hear some noise in the evening. * Some Dublin hotels offer a free... More

Well priced. Small rooms. Breakfast is good but definitely not stunning as some reviewers claim. It's just average. The air in the dining room is fat and thick. Get a better exhaust system in that kitchen please! But, the location is very central, staf is ok and the rooms are clean. Good beds. However... Staff told us we could leave... More
