What I would call basic sleeping, but very adequate for a big city hotel. Very convenient location north of the River Liffey. We arrived in the morning-too early for check in-but they will store your luggage in a safe area until you return. Make sure you get a room in the Executive Wing where it is ultra quiet. This wing... Stayed here in mid May. The place was booked by my travel agent. Though it's close to the temple Bar and situated on the o collnel street. Which is in the heart of the city. Drove here and they didn't have a car park. Had to park a distance away in a paid car park. The receptionist lady wasn't really... More

Cassidy's is in fact a charming hotel, it just wasn't what we were expecting. To start with a review I had read indicated that the hotel had "Select Comfort" beds, which in my mind is a "Sleep Number" bed, air adjustable. I'd emailed and asked about it and this was confirmed, but when we arrived not only were the beds... More

We spent one night at Cassidys, with the thought that we may spend another night there a few days later, we chose not too. The room was OK, nothing to get excited about. The bathroom was badly in need of repair and the plumbing was not the best. Breakfast was fine. Staff were helpful. Room was hot so we kept... More

Spent one week staying at Cassidy's in Dublin, Ireland in late April/early May 2013 and their slogan is "hidden gem in the heart of Dublin" (something similar to that) And what a gem it is! Cassidy's is located at the top of O'Connell Street in the heart of Dublin city centre. Our room is decent sized (especially for Europe) with... More

My wife, our two boys and I recently stayed at Cassidy's Hotel for two nights and the experience was not the best. Negative: - The area doesn't seem the safest. My wife and kids waited in the car in a side street while I went in to find about parking. It seemed very sketchy and my wife was nervous (... More

We loved it here. Great staff, great room, small minus point was net curtains little frayed and bath took ages to run but that is just a very small negative and would not put me off staying here again. beds large and very very comfy. We want to return to Dublin and we will stay here again.

They say they are a gem of Dublin. This is true. Its the perfect location - close enough to everything with a 10 minute walk, but with enough distance that there is not music blaring in the night time. Staff are great. They have a parking deal with a car park around the corner which is very reasonable. A great... More

This hotel was perfect & ideal for our short break in Dublin. Initially I thought it a bit out of town but proved wrong on first night out as we walked 10mins down to Temple Bar to meet friends & the next day to shop. On the edge of the huddle & bustle. Lovely clean room. Bit olde worldly but... More
