There are many reviews on here complaining about the noise - do not underestimate the issue as words cannot describe how loud it is. It is not just a distant 'boom-boom' of a club - it was like trying to sleep on the dance floor. I do not believe there are quieter rooms - we went to reception the next... More

The Harcourt Hotel is made up of a number of former Georgian terrace homes, just a short walk from St Stephens Green (and just down from the second stop on the LUAS tram line). It's often available at a good price, and is fine for those on a budget (especially as many Dublin hotels are very expensive). The annex rooms... More

Clean, basic and in the middle of Dublin. Cheap, safe overnight car park close by.Staff were friendly and very helpful. But this was the first hotel I have ever stayed in that supplied" ear plugs".When the people in the next room turned on their TV they were useful! We had a room at the back of the hotel as was told it... Stayed for for One Night only (Thankfully) in this awful place. Had a triple room which was pokey, substandard and very dated, damp stains on the ceiling, broken tiles in the bathroom, and had the urge to clean everything before I settled, Disgusting! Had serious problems trying to make myself understood - staff are a variety of Europeans, who have... More

Absolute dump. Do not stay there, any positive review of this hotel is by managment. Old decrepit b n b, increably noisey all night long, shower cold, room dirty. My room was not even in the hotel i had to walk down the road to another building. Entrance to hotel is locked at night you have to enter through the... More

Check in: The receptionist charged myself and my boyfriend a pre auth charge of €100 onto our credit card which I assume is down to the fact they get so many breakages, slightly insulting though. Location: Excellent, short walk from St Stephens Green, Grafton Street, etc. The hotel itself is a nice Georgian hotel but the rooms need a serious... More

I have just returned a weekend (6th -8th 0f April) with friends (all in our mid to late 30s) at The Harcourt Hotel and really cant praise the place enough! We were greeted on arrival by a very helpful lady on reception who took care of our bags while we were able to go off into Dublin while our rooms... More

I really wish to forget about this hotel.. unfortunately as it was Easter Friday there was no where else to go, though we had booked it. The rate for the hotel 'changed' from what was advertised on the internet almost double the price. We spent over 30 minutes virtually arguing with a very 'manager' who almost said as much that... I really wanted to write a bad review for this hotel but find if I am honest it would be wrong of me to do so. The check in process I found unsettling as pre payment even for breakfast is the order of the day. The room in the next buiding on the fifth floor (attic) was tiny with a... More
