Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went here to take a look around as my uncle owned the premises between 1978 and 1992. It was a trip down memory lane. When I asked the staff member if I could take a look he was only too happy to show me around. This made my day. Took some pics as I would definitely stay. Thanks to the fantastic staff who took the tome to show me around I really appreciated it!!

Inn on the Liffey location was great, very close to multiple choices for public transportation but not in the crowded Temple Bar district. I asked for a quiet room and had a supremely quiet space in bustling Dublin. I'm a 65 years old woman and had no trouble carrying my suitcase and briefcase up the three flights of stairs. Inn on the Liffey was very nice and held my suitcase while I explored town in the morning. Value for money was excellent.

Stayed hear for 3 nights, staff where friendly, breakfast was great and cooked to order by 2 lovely ladies. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Good view of the city as it's right on the main road, good for pubs and restront but could be noise in the morning. No lift and lots of stares if you at the top ad we where, not a issue for us. Rooms could do with modernising but all good.

I stayed here with my sister for two nights. It was clean but very dated. Our room was on the top floor so plenty of stairs to climb. The room itself was small but clean and the linen was fresh. Had a fridge but must admit this was just as warm as room! The breakfast was great and lots to choose from. The staff were polite and helpful. Location was great. We could of even left our bags here without charge after check in.

This is a basic budget hotel but has all you really need for a night stay in Dublin. The bed was clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine but the location is great, just a few minutes walk from the main nightlife of Dublin. Only real down was the car parking. we were told that we would have a discount at a nearby car park but this was not the case and on street parking would have been a lot cheaper.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The B&B is in a very good location and such a close walk to everything which is brilliant. We simply got a bus from the airport to a stop in the centre, never had to catch a taxi and only got a bus once when we visited the Kilmainham jail. the rooms overall were very clean and had all the amenities we needed. However, the B&B and rooms them selves were very old fashioned, the bathrooms were very small and the shower pressure was terrible. I feel like the room was very overpriced as we have stopped places elsewhere for much cheaper and much better value. However, taking into account the central location of the hotel and the much higher prices of other hotels etc it wasn’t too bad. Also don’t understand how it is a B&B yet it is €10 per person for breakfast a day!! With the high price for the room itself and the fact it is a B&B I expected breakfast to be offered for free which was disappointing.

The location worked well for us. The main drawback is stairs to all rooms, and 1st floor is actually 2 floors. 3rd floor was 4 flights. Small rooms but adequate. Shower was very small, barely enough room to turn around. Friendly staff, good breakfast available if you are not taking early tours. Overpriced for quality of room.

The staff were extremely polite and friendly! Breakfast had a good selection, and it was made to order yummy!!! The pictures on line did not include photographs of our room. Though the staff were very polite, friendly, approachable, and made sure the room was always clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety... our issue is with the owner(s) and not the staff. The owners clearly did not advertise pictures of our room. The room and especially the bathroom were very dated. The price we paid per night we received better room quality in Belfast, Edinburgh, and London. There is a 10 minute walk from the City Centre. The walk only seemed long because we knew we were OVER CHARGED given the quality of our room in comparison to what they have posted online.

Horrible place to stay. Our first night our room door would not lock. That means anybody could come in through our door durian westhall could not be fixed until the next day. In addition we had a faulty cable so we could not watch television. Also a refrigerator was missing the extension cord so we had no refrigerator. In speaking with the daytime clerk I asked that we become part of the cast for the inconvenience and his answer was simply no. He was very rude and wouldn't allow me to speak to the owner. There is virtually no parking in front of his hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is that it situated in front of the river liffey which is a beautiful. If I could have left zero stars I would have.

For those of you planning a trip to Dublin. 2 things that you may wish to know. 1st it's a great city. 2nd it's incredibly expensive. Thus even a B&B guest house will hurt your pocket. Sergio checked me in, at the INN. He was very professional and informed me clearly about the accommodation, reception etc. €70 per night, in my opinion is a little heavy. But this does reflect the high costs in Dublin. The room is quite small,, and you can hear the room s TV next door and vise versa I'm sure. However the room bedding and bathroom was very clean. Had a good TV and yes/coffee facilities. Good location.
