My husband and I had a private room at the hostel and stayed for four nights. For the nightly rate, it was a bargain. We aren't particularly fussy and were perfectly aware that this wasn't a hotel. Therefore the small things, like carrying our luggage up three flights of stairs and the smallness of the room didn't bother us. The... More

Barnacles Temple Bar is a good bed, in the middle of Temple Bar in Dublin. I stayed in a six bed female dorm which was fairly cramped, but it was ensuite which was good and the hot water held up. The beds were okay, but the proximity to Temple Bar means earplugs are a must (They need to invest in... More

Right in the heart of Temple Bar, great hostel with really friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the lad with the neck piercing who agreed that a bloke dressed as a cheeseburger looked delicious. Proximity to nightlife means having a few too many is a high probability- so I personally had a great night's sleep. A couple of girls in our... More

Great location, just around the corner of The Temple Bar in the temple bar area. It is around 16euro per person per night, 6-people room and including breakfast. But the breakfast is just toast and juices. Staff is friendly and helpful. Security is also good. During the day, I need a card to unlock the door to the stairs and... More

Great location. Staff were very helpful but i found the other customers very anti social. I would stay again but it is not a homely environment. Maybe a little more involvement from staff to help with patrons being comfortable.

Right in the middle of Temple bar, very close to everything. Reasonable price, nice staff. The rooms are not huge, but they are clean and cosy. Staff are pretty friendly with lots of advice on what to see and do.

I was travelling on my own and was happy to find a cheap hostel with separate dorms for ladies in the center of Dublin! The room was clean, the bathroom as well. I appreciated the big living room on each floors where you can use the internet, meet other people, have a drink... You also feel like home! The service... More

This hostel is great if you're young and just want a fun chilled out time in Dublin. It's location is great, right in the middle of Temple Bar and within walking distance of everything. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm which was pretty small but clean and with power sockets by every bed and cages under the beds where... More

I was there in 2010 december. It was a fantastic hostel, with a fire lit in the common room, nicley decorated rooms, super clean and friendly staff. The only thing was that the room was super tiny. The double bed's edge almost touched the wall in front. There was no space for our luggges so we placed them Behind the... More
