In most ways this is an adequate three star hotel: good location, clean, free wifi, nice lobby, pleasant staff, OK breakfast. But the level of the lighting in the rooms is unbelievably dim - so dim that I could not read a book even with every light in the room on (I know it wasn't just my room since I... More

My two night stay at the Albany House was beyond enjoyable. Really central location, spacious en-suite room (and I had a single!), free wifi (always a bonus for researchers), and delightful breakfasts. Extremely great value for all of those details. All of the staff are also incredibly nice and very attentive to their guests. The only downside is that my... More

We stayed here for a couple of days and the hotel is very clean and close to Dublin shopping centre. I recommend this hotel if they're looking for a cheap stay, saving the money in transport. Thanks to all the staff at Albany house :)

This is a very pleasant hotel with a quirky, comfortable atmosphere. The hotel is actually comprised of three separate buildings dating back to the 18th century and many details have been preserved to give it an old-world feel. There are no elevators, and our room was down a couple short flights of stairs. Our room was comfortable, warm (but not... More

I would recommend Albany House to any traveler, not just budget conscious ones. I contacted the hotel ahead of time to ask for early check-in. We had an extremely long two days of travel and were freezing when we arrived. We had to wait about an hour and a half before a room became available, but in the mean time... More

I emailed months in advance to let the B&B know my husband and I would be arriving at 0700 on a Saturday. This was not to be a problem, one of the kindly staff said. We got in at 0700. The man working the desk let us come in, told us to drop our bags then told us to leave.... More

We were very pleased with the Albany House Hotel. It is about 100 yards from St. Stephen's Green, and right up the street from Grafton Street making it an ideal location for exploring city center on foot. It is easy to catch a bus if you are going further away, and the Aircoach stops pretty close to the hotel on... More

I spent 5 nights at this hotel in mid February and really enjoyed it. It was the weekend of the 6 Nations Ireland/England match and many other hotels were booked, which is how we ended up at Albany House, but it worked out fantastic. The location is amazing, easy walking distance of just about everything. We were fortunate enough to... More

I had a three night stay at the Albany House in March 2013. The location is fantastic, just south of St. Stephen's Green park in the city center on Harcourt Street. The staff is warm and inviting, it is clear they care about their guests. I had an issue with the hot water one morning, after speaking with the front... More
