We had room in the tower with it's own entry which we liked and also magnificent views across Donegal bay. Bedroom and bathroom were huge although bathroom floor seemed to be dropping and sloped. We would have appreciated the provision of shampoo as most B&B's provide it and we tend to travel without it. Distance from Donegal is 5k and... More

Driving down the small scenic lane to this B&B was beautiful--we took lots of pictures of sheep & baby lambs grazing on the countryside. When "the castle" came into view it was breathtaking! Jackie was very gracious and welcoming. We loved our spacious room and had a nice view of the Bay. Jackie recommended a restaurant in Donegal for dinner... More

My wife and I stayed at Rossmore Manor on March 22nd and 23rd. Everything about Rossmore Manor is great. First the location is gorgeous - sitting on acreage looking out on the bay - down a quiet country lane, yet only minutes to Donegal town. Second the room was spacious, yet cozy, and had a great view. Third, the food... More

Perfect location, absolutely gorgeous house, excellent value and the best hosts! My husband and I tried to rent a room at Rossmore Manor a couple of days earlier when we visited Donegal, but Jackie and Geoff were out of town (a well-deserved break). Determined to stay there, we came back through Donegal, even though that was not on our original... More

Excellent value for the money! Jackie and Geoff made us more than welcome and comfortable. They were helpful with what to see and do in the area and even where to have dinner. The house is about 5 miles from Donegal Town. So when we wanted to go into town, Jackie offered us a ride to the restaurant and we... More

Arrived from Belfast for a 2 night stay during Feb half term. Approx 5 k from Donegal town in a beautiful secluded location overlooking Donegal Bay.We easily found via roundabout on the N15 and then 1 k down a country road but clearly signposted. Our room was gorgeous overlooking the bay with a view to die for. Thanks to jackie... More

Was very nice time being in this place first of all. And everything in terms of view from the room I stayed, nature, people, food, and rooms is absolutely, completely, and utterly superb! I highly recommend this place should you consider a trip to Donegal! We were the first S.Korean visitors to the place lol :) Looking forward to visiting... More

A short stay, wish it was longer. I came in from Belfast and had only one day to visit the coast before rejoining a group, found Rossmore on Tripadvisor and everything I read was perfect. Arrived late in the rain just before Christmas, website directions were great. Jackie greeted me warmly and had a very comfortable room, quiet, clean with... More

We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay in Rossmore Manor B&B. Jackie and Geoff were born to run a B&B and their work in putting this house together has shown fantastic results. The house oozes comfort, homeliness and the Manor House theme works really well. The views are spectacular, looking out into the sunsets of Donegal... More

5km from town with a view you wish you woke to every morning. We had the hobbit room, detached from the house. It's large, comfy, and worth asking for. Nice hosts, with a welcome word to you in that you can't mistake as a Mayo accent. It's all Donegal accent at this house, which is what you'd expect this far... More
