There was something special about our sojourn in Donegal Manor – it was ‘an experience’ rather than just ‘somewhere to stay’. The moment we stepped over the threshold we got a genuinely warm friendly welcome from Michael & Sian and within a few minutes we found ourselves on very comfortable seating being served with tea and fresh baked scones. Thereafter... More

Sian and Michael are wonderful hosts although proximity to the main road was noisy even with the window closed (loose handles). The grounds and rooms are beginning to look tired. Breakfast delicious and the porter cake was an unexpected treat. Excellent wifi and it's free. More

My wife and I stayed here at the start of our holiday and tour of the West of Ireland. Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor we were not disappointed with this Guesthouse. We received a typical Donegal warm welcome with every assistance to check-in, not forgetting a refreshing cuppa after our long drive. Our room was just fantastic. There... More

A wee bit worried about the proximity of the main road when we arrived, but this proved to be OK - no noise in our room. Thanks to Sian and Michael for a lovely dinner on our second night, and great breakfasts! We walked into town and got a taxi back, due to a lengthy spell in the Reel Inn... More

After having a nightmare journey, we arrived at Donegal Manor to be greeted with a well needed cup of tea and cake. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and immediately made us feel like we could now just relax and enjoy our break. The hotel it's self was clean, homely and had a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was truly... More

Based on previous reviews, we recently stayed two nights & were very pleased with the accomodations. Rooms were spacious, clean & well appointed. We did not experience any road noise . The parlour & breakfast room were delightful, as was the delicious breakfast. We had a fabulous 4 course dinner there as well. Sian & Michael set this B&B apart... More

While travelling around Ireland with a small group of people on a photo tour, we stayed in Donegal Manor for two nights. This was one of the better places at which we stayed, with large rooms (and large bathrooms). The rooms are locatated on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and there is no lift (elevator), so bear that in mind... More

Located on the N15 just 4-5 minutes from Donegal Town, by car. Ideally located for day trips to awesome Sleive League and surrounds and the beautiful Glenveagh National Park. We stayed 3 nights at Donegal Manor and wished it could have been longer. The lovely Sian greeted us with coffee and cake, which set the tone for the rest of... More

My friend and I spent 1 night here on a road trip around Ireland. It's a very nice manor house, food was very good and the hosts were delightful! Had a nice visit over a sip or two of whiskey before heading into town for Irish traditional music at the Reel Inn - the best night of music we had!... More
