Our stay was quite dissapointing and matches all the comments of the other reviewers. I had rang up in advance to ask about car parking and was told they had their own private car park. When we arrived, it was a very good job we were travelling in the small car as anything larger would not have got in. Car... More

This guest house is right in the city centre, which makes it nice for accessing shops and the Donegal Castle etc. Small car park at back of the premises, but free. Be sure to fold in your mirrors! Shared bathrooms, but spanking clean. My room was a single, so fairly teeny. But had everything I needed. Access from the back... More

It was a little disappointing. The rooms were not up-to-date. didn't think it was worth the price. Owners were very nice. Would pick another place next time. The breakfast that was provided was quite good More

Good location just off the Diamond. Rooms small, and slightly outdated but well cared for. Cleanliness of the highest standard. Wonderful fire-place sitting room. Food above average...but what makes this place special is the people running it. Read previous reviews and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and wondered if the previous reviewers were at some other place.... More

Cheap And Nasty Literally, Car Park Was Full At 2pm, You Got an Instant Odour As You Walk In The Front Door, The Room Was Dull , Dark And Dusty , The Bed Linen Looked As Though It Had Seen Far Better Day's, I Have Travelled All Over Ireland and Stayed In Many Guest Houses And This Is By Far... The advantage of this guest house is that it is right in the heart of Donegal Town. I read the many unfavorable reviews and it is true that service can be brisk because the facility has over forty rooms so things can get busy, but my wife and I had a fine stay. I did not notice any of the... More

You can do better. It's not that it's awful; the bed is comfortable, there is a decent breakfast and this place has a certain charm, it just that for a few more euros you can get something 10 times better. The rooms are very dated and a little dirty, the walls paper thin, and the whole place just left me... More

We were on a four week road trip and this was the worst place we stayed at! The rooms were small and dingy. The shower was so small that some people would have trouble fitting into it.. It was not at all sound proof: you could hear the people next door talking....and doing other things....even though they were not loud.... More
