I stayed here for a wedding in Glandore and had an amazing experience. I can't emphasise enough how welcoming Jim and Carol were - thank you very much guys. In addition, the house (lounge, kitchen, rooms, breakfast) and gardens are beautiful. In summary, I cannot recommend this B&B any higher. Once again, thank you very much. Steve More

We fish in union hall a few times a year and stayed in a few places but never at the Lis-Ardagh Lodge we were recommended by a friend who stayed here before. On arrival we were greeted and shown our room first impressions was how clean the house was and how warm the house was. Carol was very nice and... More

Carol was so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. After staying at another B and B we realized what a gem Carol was. She was very informative about where to go and where to eat. As far as the lodge, top notch, as my husband put it, the pictures don't do it justice. Secluded and yet a 5 minute... More

We stayed here recently for 2 nights while attending a wedding nearby and we were very impressed. The house itself is beautiful and in a peaceful and quiet location whilst being close to the villages of Glandore (stunning!) and Leap. The room we stayed in was of a very high standard with an ensuite and the bed was extremely comfortable..I... More

This was by far the best B&B we stayed in on our trip to Ireland recently (August) - Carol managed to find space for our family in their delightful house (2 adults and 2 children) even though all they had left was a twin room. Their hospitality was outstanding - offering hot chocolate for the boys in the evening and... More

It's hard to say what the best thing about Lis-Ardagh Lodge was- it could have been the beautiful house that just takes your breath away as you enter the driveway; it could have been the warm welcome myself and my partner got from Jim; it may have been the lovely big, bright room with its great views of the landscaped... We spent Saturday 03/09/11 there and loved it so much we decided to stay Sunday night as well. The owners (Carol and Jim) built the place as a labour of love and the result is a beautiful house set in three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with sea views. Carol and Jim are a well matched double act and you... More

Beautiful location and home. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and helpful with information regarding the area. Rooms beautiful, very tastefully decorated. Food amazing. Grounds immaculately landscaped. Would highly recommend this B&B and the immediate area. More

We came to Lis-Ardagh Lodge for the wedding of a great friend near-by, there were about 11 of us staying in both the B&B and the self catering apartment/house. Jim and Carol could not have done more to make it the most memorable of weekends. From the outset, they were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble: they made us... More
