We came with low expactations, after this was the cheapest offer in the whole area. In the somewhat remote location we found a small scottish pub with geuine local people having their beers. what a dump! there was a funny smell the whole stay, the same kind of smell you get in old damp buildings. The B&B has two rooms - sharing a bathroom. We stayed in the smaller room for one night. If you decide to walk from Balloch station it taked 15-20 minutes. The Rowantree was easy to find and is situated close to Loch Lomond. As more recent reviews will confirm, we have improved the lighting around the access to the guest rooms since your stay.
