“Definately NOT a retreat!”

On arrival room not ready, dining room tables & chairs covered in damp sheets! Couldnt get a simple massage, two large barking Alsation dogs, very small rooms, blood stains on wall by the side of the bed (I kid you not). People friendly enough and a lovely position but definately not a retreat, an OK b&b at best. More

This place is a perfectly adequate stopover in Skye. It is set between Portree and Uig, so handy for the ferry to Outer Hebrides. It isn't a family run B and B, rather a retreat centre. The rooms were like a third rate hostel, tiny and with a miserable shower. The wretched beds were very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was cold. The kitchen was next to the dining room and only three other people were eating! There is no close respite. The people were friendly enough. More

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Origin Educere Centre. The first time was in January 2010 with my husband and then again as a retreat client in July 2010.
