I bought people from Ireland and Australia and we had a wonderful 2 nights with Jenny and Jim . The setting is beautiful and the rooms are comfy large and so well equiped The biscuits were rather splendid too. Breakfast was perfection with lots of fresh fruit. I will hopefully be back as soon as I can

My husband, father-in-law and I had a wonderful stay with Jim and Jenny on Mull. The BnB is in a great location, with a lovely garden and fantastic view. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the breakfasts were delicious (copying another reviewer) - fantastic scrambled eggs, and the omelets were great as well!

We stayed here for two nights. The hosts are friendly. A nice breakfast (with fresh fruit!) was served in a bright dining room overlooking the beautiful cottage garden. Bedroom was a good size, clean, great condition. The decor is old-fashioned cottage style, lots of floral and lace, which definitely suits this property. There were no views from the room, but... Conveniently close to the ferry, yet Old Mill Cottage is situated in an idyllic peaceful spot close to a sea loch - good for walks early morning and evening. We never did get to see the local otters, though! Jim and Jenny are really welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much for them! Lots of special touches in the... More

Jim and Jenny Smith provide a relaxed environment and have an excellent supply of maps, books and magazines to browse. There is a comfortable lounge and the good breakfast including fresh fruit and fish is served in the airy dining room. Rooms are fairly spacious but do not have any views. The lounge is quite dark as it only has... More

This was a comfortable, cozy and modest cottage, a perfect fit for the rural setting of Isle of Mull. The hosts, Jenny and Jim, were warm and welcoming. Jim prepared a delicious breakfast each morning (best scrambled eggs ever!). The cottage had a homey feel, and there was a common den area for guests to enjoy. Some baths had tub/shower... More

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a very spacious room for good value of money. The only thing i didnt like was the shower which was just a bath and the water was really cold and couldnt really get warm. Jenny made us freshly cooked breakfast with huge portions. There was also musli and juices. We would definetely... More

This was a haven for us after a day of rain and tough cycling. Jenny and her husband didn't bat an eye at having wet and muddy cyclists show up on their doorstep looking for a room. The garden has many beautiful species of flowering plants and appealingly restored historic mill walls and other structures. Some of the garden flowers... More

What a beautiful place, we recieved a lovely welcome from the owner Jenny. The cottage is situated in an ideal position, only 3 miles from the Ferry terminal of Craignure. The Cottage was warm homely and peaceful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with every convenience and toiletry that you could need. Breakfast was excellent, and there is even... More

The Old Mill Cottage was just perfect as a base for a relaxing weekend on the beautiful island of Mull. The location could not be better - just a short journey from the ferry terminal at Craignure, and the hospitality provided by the owners made this a special place to stay. From the warm welcome on arrival through to the... More
