I recently stayed at the JacMar in Ayr in their single room. The b&b was really well cared for and spotless, and very inviting. Centrally located it is within a few minutes walk of both the beach and the town centre, as well as both bus and train depots. This encourages leaving the car behind and exploring, and the JacMars... Ann bent over backwards to accomodate us by providing us with a very comfortable folding bed for my son to sleep in so that we were able to sleep in the single room.... More

My wife and I stayed recently at the JacMar, for a wee post-op break. It is very central (with off road parking), with nothing a problem to the owners, you only have to ask. We had the full breakfast twice which is very filling, but twice also had the continental b/fast which had everything that you needed to set you... More

Four of us stayed here on a golfing trip and it was ideally located for the great Ayrshire links courses. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. The B and B is only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town with its pubs and restaurants. Free wifi and flat screen tvs. Only three... More
