Returned for a second time to this B&B and it does not disappoint. An excellent B&B - comfortable rooms, good breakfast and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here, very friendly staff, good breakfast menu (always important!). Great location, an easy walk to the High Street where everything is. A good meal was had a the pub that brews its own beer at hte top of the street- a nice 10 min walk, great atmosphere, quaint and friendly.

The hosts are lovely, the location is beautiful, the rooms a delight, the breakfast a treat. What more can I say. It's wonderful. Best B&B i've ever stayed in, in Scotland.

Sited just a 3 Minutes walk from the centre on an elevated position overlooking a lovely town. A second visit here and just like returning home, great room, great welcome, great hosts we will be returning again soon. Many thanks for our stay and thanks for putting us in bedroom on the first floor after a longish walk!

Jim could not have been a kinder or more considerate host, and Wellwood House is a perfect, unspoiled Victorian dream. We decided to forego an en-suite because the 'lovely old Victorian bathroom' sounded so attractive - and it was! Absolutely delicious breakfast - spoiled for choice - and our normally fussy four-year-old daughter kept going back for more.

Beautiful old house takes you back in time, set in lush green grounds. Jim was a wonderful host, great sense of humor. Lovely , spotless room and a magnificent breakfast. Highly recommended.
