This is a very good value guest house close to the centre of Elgin. Very helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and a really excellent breakfast. We used it as a base for visiting Speyside distilleries, and we could not have picked better. Woudl definitely use again for our next trip there

This was our third stay at the very comfortable and quiet West End Guest House. Once again we received a very warm welcome and found the room extremely clean and very tastefully decorated. The West End makes a refreshing change from the many characterless concrete chain hotels that seem to be everywhere these days. The breakfast was sensational, the staff friendly and informative, the location perfect for a stroll into the town,and the accommodation clean and comfortable. After a long days driving the place was just what the Doc ordered. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the West End Guest House for one night, and had an excellent experience. It was not very difficult to find, and the owner was helpful in recommending places for sightseeing and dinner. An average stay and the West End was clean and fairly comfortable. I have to say I don't recognise the high praise reviews - main minus points for me were: - a slightly unfriendly welcome - lack of water pressure for a decent shower - inflexibility over early breakfast. Overall very average standard and value for money.

We made another visit to this guest house. The welcome is friendly, Carole the owner, is always helpful and cheery. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable.We will be going back again.
