Stayed one night on a business trip. Staff were very pleasant , and the room & bathroom were clean, comfortable & modern. There was a small but "more than adequate" breakfast buffet included, with good cooked options. We ate at the Indian restaurant just across the street - which was also extremely good value.

This hotel is about as good as it gets in the local area. Its next door to a good American style restaurant, and across the street is a Sainsbury's store

Stayed for 1 night, room was very nice & clean, bed was comfy & had a great night sleep, breakfast was very good, which was a surprise as previous Holiday Inns were average for their cooked breakfast, staff were pleasent & helpful, would stay here again.

We stayed here for a weekend, whilst visiting family and friends. The hotel was a really pleasant surprise! The rooms were good, the complimentary breakfast was excellent and the service was superb. A great budget hotel. Thumbs up!

Spent Sunday and Monday at the tall ships race at Greenock. Stayed o'night in the Holiday Inn at the waterfront where we had free parking and an easy walk along the waterfront to the docks where the extrvaganza took place. Before me and my family stepped into the hotel things had already started going wrong. Having tried to charge my dad's card twice for the pleasure of the stay the 'customer service' team were less than helpful in trying to sort out the situation and even told him that they couldn't send a receipt for the refund of the money.... This is a very comfortable hotel with great potential. Management needs to raise staff awareness in a number of areas. The most important one is that all staff should recognise that attending to guests is more important that chatting to each other. Holiday Inn Express chain hotel, you know what to expect from them. We thought we were OK here even though room was noisy with the main road right outside. Room clean and facilities good too. However the bed was not level as the legs were bent on one side, this left us with sore backs after a poor nights sleep.... More
