“Would definitely recommend this place - home from home”

Just spent two nights here whilst visiting friends that live close by. We had a double rooms which was spacious and clean. Martin and Janet made you feel very welcome - you couldn't ask for better hosts.

Stayed for a total of seven nights over a two week period, very comfortable, warm hospitality, beautifly cooked breakfast, spotlessly clean throughout, the only "caveat" is that the one single occupancy room available is somewhat small and cramped, however, there are plans to rectify this situation in the future. We stayed here in March 2012 for 1 night (found through Google) and can thoroughly recommend it. We had a twin room overlooking the garden, very spacious, good flat screen tv, nice toiletries, good quality biscuits on the hospitality tray, spotlessly clean everywhere and very comfortable beds. Lovely warm & welcoming owners, great breakfast, spotless room. Overall would highly recommend. Ideal location for exploring the area, or if just passing through for the night. High standard Guest House giving excellent value for money. Well Done to the new owners Martin & Janet.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The owners have taken over about 3 years ago & transforming a 70's b&b to more up-to-date, although taking some time they will get there. Very friendly people.
