We were fortunate to find this wonderful B&B. Rooms are spotless, beds are comfy, linens very good quality, views of Loch Linnie amazing and the breakfast faultless and filling. Both Trevor and Margaret were extremely welcoming even though we had not booked before arriving and just appeared on their doorstep. They are a wealth of information on the area and... More

This B+B was a welcome sight after a long days travel. The rooms have stunning views, and are a decent size with our twuin room having a huge adjoining bathroom. The hosts are great, very welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic. The whole place was super clean and I would recommend this as the perfect place to base yourself in... More

This gorgeous little house is one of soooo many on the road along the Loch in Fort William. It's a little way to walk into town if it's wet, but would be perfect in dry weather and is only about a 2 minute drive by car. Margaret was so lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, so roomy... More

We stayed in the twin room with the private facilities and thought that the whole bed and breakfast was excellent value. Our room was a very good size, clean and tidy and the private bathroom was excellent being large and modern and with easy access to the room. Our room had a great view out of the bed room window... This place was rated with three stars but proved the least acceptable out of the B&B accomodation with the same rating that we stayed at in Scotland. The breakfast was good but the room facing the loch was tiny and the ensuite arrangements were very poor. Fine if you are a dwarf. The shower cubicle was minute and one couldn't... More

We were not given a chance to address the reviewers concerns since no complaint was made, either on their arrival or during their stay. If there had been we would have done our very best to help. We feel it inappropriate for the reviewer to make recommendations to possible future customers. We are astonished that after reading this critical review... More

With so many places to visit for the avid climber, and historic sights to see for the true tourist, it's nice to know you can relax at Alt-An-Lodge at the end of the day. It has a fantastic view of Loch Linnhe and many fine places to eat in the town of Fort William, which is nearby. But the friendliness... More
