excellent b&b lovely room very clean. brilliant host very helpful and courteous. best veggie breakfast ive had.this is my fourth visit to balcarres would highly recommend this b&b great value for money.

i stayed here for one night and it was one night too many, there was someone elses used bath towels in my bathroom, the room was none too clean, cold when i first arrived. breakfast was okish, nothing special. i am puzzled as it has 4* rating,

just an excellent B+B. Fantastic host, fantastic view from the building. Breakfast has an excellent range of choices, and the fry-up was great. Would highly recommend staying here, and is great value as well.

Been there one night. Good place to stay (also with pet), close to town centre, great start for local attractions such as Ben Nevis or highly recommended Steall Waterfall....plus....stunning view from window in the morning :-) Overall A++++

While this B&B was very good, I am not sure why it was awarded 4 stars. I think a 3 star rating would be better for this venue as a 4 star leads one to think you will get more than Balcarres gives. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this B&B. It is within a good walking distance... More

We stayed a night. Just off the main road with a steep entry. Parking can be difficult. Good views of the loch from bedrooms. Okish breakfast. But overall a very comfortable and nice stay. Would recommend.

We had a two night stay at this B/B . The room was very clean and of medium size,as we were on the front of the house we had a lovely view out over the water and the moutains oppsite us, the breakfast was excellent and plenty of it.the b/b was a short walk out ot the town. where there... More

Nice place to crash... welcoming ppl. Good location with a nice view. Our bath was broken but the bathroom had shower so that was not that big a deal. I would like to recommend to carry umbrella at all times.. It can rain ANY TIME of the day! Overall no complains... Would totally Recommend.

Mike and Jackie were wonderful hosts during our 4 nights with them. They made our stay very comfortable and they have set up their B&B very well with all the little things being done to a high standard (and the big things)!
