a great location, right in the middle of Inverness - the room was spacious but could have been clearner. We were only in Inverness for the night so it didnt bother us particularly. That said, the bed linen and towels were spotless and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good price for the location as most other hotels were... More

On the final day whilst in Scotland we found ourselves in Inverness for a night, the friends I was travelling with have stayed at the King's Highway previously and recommended it as a base. We got to the hotel fairly late on a Friday night so waited at the reception, where we were checked in by a helpful member of... More

Hi JonB125! Thanks for reviewing the King's Highway on Tripadvisor. I'd like to address a few points you raised-Sea Gulls! Inverness BID are in the process of a sea gull cull and a-sure me they've dealt with 80% of the gulls in the City. It is a problem for us and every hotel in Inverness! We do stock 7 ales... More

I have stayed here several times the hotel is ideally situated in the city centre and with careful timing a parking space can be found right outside the front door which is very useful . every-time I have stayed here without exception they put me in a room on the first floor and I don't know if its just me... Thanks for taking the time to write a review about the King's Highway. We often get a complaint about the fans. It's difficult to source the noise directly as there are our own fans which are near the 1st floor, the fans from the neighbouring hotel and our cellar fans which are a distance away form the 1st floor. We... More

I stay at this hotel for business & pleasure a few times a year, while also using other local hotels. We were here for 2 days at new year, so the city centre location was important to us, having everything we needed within walking distance. Some local hotels would have cost us more than £100 more for the 2 nights,... More

Hi, thanks for your review on Trip Advisor. We're glad you like the new year offer and I'm please to see it will be back next year. Veuve Clquot was a one off, our standard champagne for this offer is Moet Chandon-not a bad alternative. Anyway, we have a major refurbishment underway and if you are back next new year... More

Room was large and very scruffy but very clean. Holes in carpet.Stains on carpet. Not much of a view. Cabinets poorly put together. Defintely needs modernisation! Bathroom had cracked tiles and dirty grouting but shower was very powerful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good hospitality tray. Stayed mid week and no noise from pub or street despite being on first... More

Booked the stay here out of novelty value initially as we are generally fans of Wetherspoon pubs and were intrigued to see what their hotel experience would offer. The hotel was initially difficult to find due to a plethora of roadworks in Inverness - eventually we managed to park briefly outside in the loading / unloading area and then moved... More

booked last minute for a short break. 140 quid for two nights. The room was like walking into a wall of heat and the radiator was adjusted with much difficulty. The window only opened an inch and did nothing to air out the bizarre odour that was kicking about the place. The bathroom was even weirder, and must of existed... More

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We're sorry to hear you were unhappy with the quality of your room. The towel heater is also the radiator for the toilet and the switch for this is located next to the toilet light switch. There are 3 signs in the toilet but only one refers to the... More

Thanks for taking time to write a review about the King's Highway. I'm sorry you felt that other customers' attire was not to your liking. I'm afraid that we do not operate a dress code, though perhaps the duty manager should have had a word if these customers clothes were especially messy. As for your comments regarding our painter, there... More
