We stayed here as part of a Rabbie's tour, so it was arranged for us. Check in was straightforward and friendly. The price, £15 per head, was a bargain. The wifi was surprisingly good. The free tea, coffee and hot chocolate a bonus. The common areas were such that you actually wanted to spend time in them. The heating was... More

very centrally located, good price, clean, plus helpful staff. Cant really ask for any more than that for £17 a night. Loads of info available too if you were a tourist/backpacker. More

Stayed here 4 nights in a 6-person female dorm room. Hotel location right up the street from Inverness Castle, about a 5-10 minute walk from the city center and transit centers (bus and train stations). Free WiFi internet available throughout the building. Computer and printer available in lounge for a fee. Fully stocked (but cramped) kitchen available for guest use.... More

The location is great and so is the atmosphere. It is annoying that you have to add money for the breakfast but at least the wiiFii is free. You have to pay for computer usage though. The place is very cramped and the rooms especially. Tour groups come In and there is no place to move. The kitchen is very... More

I stayed here through a Macbackpackers tour. The staff were very friendly. The place is clean. Towel rental is only 20p and there is a decent breakfast for only £2. There is a lovely bay window which overlooks the river and old town. More

Clean dorms with plenty of space, excellent showers, free tea/coffee. Lots of pluses spoiled by the common area being dominated by the staff and their hangers-on (They can't ALL work there!), with their choice of music thumping away all day, even at 8am. Could be a splendid establishment if more user-focused. More

Awesome and friendly staff made my stay excellent. Very compact lounge really lets people get to share stories and a beer. Inverness is also a cool small city with a good nightlife and lots of live music. More

I loved this hostel. The staff was so friendly and kind. The kitchen, although small was tidy and clean. The lobby areas were tidy and clean. The rooms were tidy, clean, roomy, and bright. The showers and bathrooms were pretty clean-- I imagine as clean as a shower and bathroom can be with many people using them... and much, much... More

I was frankly a bit surprised to see the other reviews, as they seem to speak about another place. One of them even states "it's close to Edinburgh town centre", which I find it difficult to believe since the hostel is in Inverness!!! Another review reported the hostel as noisy, but in the night it's actually quite peaceful and relaxing... More

deceptively big ,on the street side it appears small but from the riverside you get real nice views across the river to the theatre and ness islands.quite a pretty view. good functional hostel but lacking atmosphere.as it specialuses in bus groups and the resulting herd mentality.Lounge would be packed one minute, empty the next and these groups are so tight room...
