from you arrive till you leave you are made very welcome by richard and nan. our room looked over the river. everything was great. we couldnt fault anything. 5 min walk from bus and railway stations good location for shops, pubs.

Very friendly people. Clean, quiet room, decor not brand new but everything you could need for a short stay provided. A lounge to sit in with wifi available. Lovely full breakfast cooked to order and I enjoyed the porridge. Nice extra was the offer to help yourself to sherry/port in the evening with a nice selection of home made treats!

With our baby girl we stayed our last night in the Highlands in the Westbourne Guest House. It was a good choice - although the house and our room was slightly run-down in details. But without renovation that might become critical in the future. Friendly and helpful owner. Good breakfast. A cot was provided free of charge.
