Hotel right in city centre. Adjacent to Inverness rail terminus. Perfect if you are using a Rail Rover ticket for early starts or if you want to experience the magnificent rail route to Kyle of Lochalsh. Hotel is of course old and creaky but packed with character. Friendly staff. Very limited vehicle parking. More suited to bus, rail and foot passengers.... More

We enetered the lobby via the hotel but sat in the restaurant called ASH, we thought it was all the same place. After sitting waiting for about 10 mins we had to ask somebody if we could have soemthing to eat or drink, the male mumbled something and went on... Pros: beside train station, beautiful lobby area, free wi-fi in lounge, friendly receptionist, free parking, affordable, nice sized barhroom, great sleep, Ash restaurant has fantastic dinner deals for two :) Cons: needs some upgrades or repairs (carpet was very loose and coming up in areas) non-secure parking in this busy area, both bedside lamps didn't work, poor room lighting,

I arrived by National Express coach at half ten so it was great to find the hotel so close to the bus/ train stations and in a very central location. Check in was hassle free and the receptionist very friendly. The staircase is indeed quite magnificent as many other reviewers have mentioned. I stayed in room 212 on the 2nd... More

Thank you for the review - however, while we take such feedback extremely seriously, our monthly check by our pest control contractor does not confirm to the presence of the infestation you mentionned and in the absence of more specific details we are unable to take any other action. You are however, requested to let us know of the other... More

I stayed here overnight on two separate occasions recently. The first thing that ought to be said about this hotel is its great location, just outside the railway station and smack in the heart of Inverness. In view of this, its rates per standard single room (which included a plentiful albeit somewhat uninspiring breakfast buffet) of just under £80 on... More

We booked this break through Classic Britain and had a DBB package at an unbeatable rate. The hotel is very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff ( Mostly Eastern European ). The food in the Ash Restaurant is lovely. We were part of a large family group and found everyone very child friendly. Breakfast is fantastic. I can`t think of any... More
