This is a super place to have as a base as you explore Inverness and the west highlands. Hotel is very comfortable and a very nice staff that helped us navigate around the place. Pretty quiet and very comfortable beds although the rooms are pretty small. Water pressure is pretty lacking too. Lots of shopping and restaurants in close walking... More

This hotel was a great find. Near to shops, comfortable, good service, staff friendly and very helpful, food excellent, room and en suite spotless. Lifts a big help and easy to use. I will choose The Encore for all future stays in Inverness. Thank you.

Great location. We had a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable and the room was very small. Restaurant and common area was great and the staff were very friendly. No parking but the nearby train station parking area worked out great for 6 lbs per 24 hrs.

As soon as I walked in the door to my hotel room I was disappointed. It had the smell of air freshener used to cover up something even worse than the floral stink of the air freshener. Blah. Luckily the window opened and so it stayed for my 3 night stay. The room is tiny and the bed is not... More

When traveling with work - I always ask for this hotel now. The staff are always friendly and chatty when you're traveling alone and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from both the train station and the high street. The restaurant serves great food and the breakfast is definitely... More

Booked a 5 day highland tour and were assigned to this hotel. We were a bit concerned when we were dropped out side but were welcomed like family at the front desk - nothing seemed to be a problem to the staff. The dining staff are great particularly Sam who just bubbles with life! Highly recommend the porridge and the... More

Close to the station and town centre, very freindly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, 'contemporary' style which is fairily minimalist but everything you need. Small tip - my wet room shower tended to flood the floor by the sink unless you put a towell down to stop the water wandering across the floor. Internet in room is charged, but... More

Staff are very friendly especially Amber who is everywhere and doing everything and if you want anything done, she is always there with a smile on her face. The only complaint that I have of the hotel is that it has a very limited free TV selection. The bed and breakfast we stayed in between visits to this hotel had... More

This hotel was great for what we wanted....a one night stop over in Inverness as we made our way through the Highlands to Ediburgh. The staff were very friendly....one of them may have overdone it a little! He was definitely well intentioned, but I don't need to be checked on every 5 minutes while at the bar in the lobby!... This hotel was friendly, functional, delivering just what was expected in an efficient manner. Rooms were adequate but had a lovely view of the Cairngorms as an added extra. Breakfast was fresh and replenished before it was gone. All in all a useful hotel for a quick halt in Inverness. The lack of parking was overcome by a cheap multi... More
